Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs (Solutions)

The effective treatment of children and adolescents with mental health disorders requires an approach that includes attention to every aspect of a young person’s life. Rushford has the appropriate resources in place to address the emotional, developmental, physical, psychological, familial, social and cultural factors of each child. Every child who enters one of our programs is treated as a unique individual with separate needs and problems.

Partial Hospital Program
Highly structured, intensive treatment for adolescents ages 12-18 who do not require 24-hour supervision but are unable to function adequately or safely without extensive therapeutic intervention for significant portions of the day.  This program runs four hours per day, five days per week.

Intensive Outpatient Services
This level of care is appropriate for those who require continued support while working toward greater independence from a structured therapeutic setting.  This program provides a transition enabling the client to readjust to their community and stabilize after the crisis that originally led them to treatment.  The program operates three hours per day.  Frequency is individualized and based on the needs of the adolescent.
