Answer: Rushford’s treatment philosophy is based on flexible intervention, a process involving client, family and care team in a thorough initial assessment and staff evaluation of the client’s physical and psycho-social status combined with immediate and long term needs. This process allows for matching the client to the appropriate treatment approach and program while continuously monitoring and assessing the individual’s recovery to expedite the ongoing placement in the appropriate level of care.

Answer: Rushford provides behavioral health services to residents throughout the state at various inpatient and outpatient facilities located in Middletown, Glastonbury, Meriden, Portland and Branford.

Question: What insurance plans does Rushford accept?
Answer: Rushford maintains contractual agreements with all major healthcare insurers and managers having covered lives in Connecticut, as well as with many other institutional programs, corporate and private EAP's, HMO's, MCO's and private carriers across the nation. Reimbursement to Rushford also comes from Medicaid and grants from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, United Way, the City of Middletown and the county and towns of Middlesex County, CT. Independent contracts are also maintained with other state agencies. Together these reimbursements, along with private contributions through Rushford's own development programs, allow Rushford Center to provide quality care to all who seek our assistance, regardless of the individual's ability to pay.
